FORBES MAGAZINE HAS just released a
list of the best cities to get a job -- and Washington, DC ranked #1.
Of course, this is no surprise to those of us who live here. We've known for years that Washington is a hotbed for internships and jobs. If you don't believe us, just ask some of our students. In the past couple of years we have had students intern at places like CNN, USA Today, the NIH, the Discovery Channel, AOL, XM Radio, Chevy Chase Bank, the IMF, Congress, and the list could go on and on and on.
If you didn't see the article, here's the top five cities as determined by Forbes:
- Washington, DC
- Phoenix, Arizone
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Orlando, Florida
- Bethesda, Maryland (a suburb of DC -- just 4 miles from CUC)
If you're serious about education as a stepping stone to your future, wouldn't you want to attend college near one of these cities? Or, in the case of CUC, two of these cities?
