Do You Need an Ivy League Education?

DID YOU SEE the article in the
Wall Street Journal last week titled 'Any College Will Do?'. The basic point of the piece was to show that you don't need an Ivy League education to become a successful CEO. In fact, if you look at the 100 top businesses in the United States, you'll find that most of their CEO's do not have fancy degrees.
Warren Buffett, CEO of
Berkshire Hathaway is quoted in the article. 'I don't care where someone went to school, and that never caused me to hire anyone or buy a business." He goes on to say that what count's most in a person's capacity to 'seize opportunities.'
