Bored this Sunday before finals? Go to Eastern Market.
Eastern Market was built in 1873 and is one of the very few public markets left in the DC area. There is fresh produce and food, flowers, baked goods, meat, cheese and other products.
On Sundays, there is also a flea market in addition to the farmer's market products.
Here are the hours:
South Hall: Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Flea Market: Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Arts & Crafts Market: Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Farmers' Line: Saturday & Sunday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
