UNLESS YOU READ the business section of the paper in your hometown, you may have missed this story from the Bloomberg news service:

The House of Representatives approved legislation that would base the amount of aid low-income college students receive as federal grants on their overall educational costs rather than just tuition.
What does this mean for the average incoming college student? Well, in a nutshell it means that you will have more financial aid coming your way if you qualify for the funds. Everyone knows that tuition isn't the only expense that college students have to incur (what about living expenses, food, books, etc?). Now the House of Representatives seem to know that too.
