Venture out in the cold to the Smithsonian Freer Gallery of Art for the 12th annual Iranian Film Festival.
It's running every weekend through February 17, so take advantage of this opportunity to see multiple foreign films in a great location.
The best part is that tickets are FREE and can be picked up one hour before show time. There is a limit of two tickets per person.
Here's a line-up of the films being shown from this point forward (four films have already been shown):
"Rule of the Game" -- A poverty-stricken family shares an inheritance with a high-brow set in this slapstick comedy. 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25; 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27
"Vital" -- This ghost story follows a medical student who discovers his girlfriend's corpse in anatomy class. 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1
"Red Robin" -- A child's prank results in the death of a schoolmate and a cover-up in this tale. The story merges Islamic and Christian traditions. 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15; 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17
